Tracie and Barb will be at Spinning at the Winery on Saturday, June 4 at the Retzlaff Winery in Livermore, CA. This is a fun, relaxed fiber event with a vendor fair, raffle, wine and a great potluck lunch. The cost is $5 person. Don't forget:
* sunscreen and a hat
* a potluck dish to share
* Whatever you would like to drink (wine is available for purchase)

Barb and Tracie reviewed Annetarsia Knits: a New Link to Intarsia by Anne Berk. It is a beautiful book featuring a new technique invented by Anne for easy intarsia knitting in the round.

- Just Autumn Cowl by Janina Bottger in Becoming Art Fingering - to the right is a picture of the yarn as it looked in the skein and then wound into a cake. What a difference!

Barb has finished:
- Descent by Tim Johnston. It was pretty good!
- The Perfect Son by Barbara Claypole White. She enthusiastically recommends it.
- My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry by Fredrik Backman. She did not finish this book.
- Two in the Far North by Margaret Murie. Excellent!
Tracie has finished:
- Something Missing by Matthew Dicks. She recommends it!
- Longbourn by Jo Baker. It was sort of a slog, especially at the beginning, but she ended up liking it.
- The Stranger She Loved: A Mormon Doctor, his Beautiful Wife and an Almost Perfect Murder by Shanna Hogan - a really good book.
