Barb finished the Able Cable Hat by Kari Steinetz in Duren Dyeworks Kindness Aran in the Plum Crazy colorway.  It was a very fun knit, but the hat is way too big, so she is going to frog it and knit a different pattern.

She has cast on:
*Helvetica cardigan by Elizabeth Doherty, using Berroco Indigo in the Cut-Offs colorway.
*Zigzagular Socks by  Susie White, using Desert Vista Dyeworks Viso in the Zombody Loves the 2 Knit Lit Chicks colorway.

Barb is continuing to knit on:
*  Crackerjack Cowl by Stacy Simpson Duke, using Plymouth Yarn DK Merino Superwash in 4 color ways - Orange, Gray, Black and White.
*  Wild Goose Shawlette by Paula Emons- Fuessle, using GnomeAcres Fancy Gnome in the Aurora Gnomealis colorway.
*  Dodgson #2 by the Berroco Design Team, using Berroco Boboli in the Strawberry Jam colorway.
*  Perpendicular Cowl by Brenda Castiel, using Knit Picks Swish DK in 2 colors - orange and coal'

Tracie has finished a pair of  vanilla socks in Fishknit Boot Strap in the Fat Tuesday colorway.

She has cast on another pair of vanilla socks in Knitting Rose Budding Tracks Sock Set in Good Will Hunting Ombre

She continues to work on:
*  Longstreet cowl by Nancy Totten, using Abstract Fiber Temptation in The Gorge colorway.
*  Endearment cardigan by Hanna Maciejewska, using Jill Draper Makes Stuff Esopus in the Sapphire colorway.
*  Wanda Estelle poncho by Debbie Stone, using Kollage Yarns Fantastic in Slate Green.
*  Perpendicular Cowl by Brenda Castiel, using Cascade Elysian in the 08 colorway and Jojoland Splatter Dash in the 002 colorway.

Barb and Tracie enthusiastically recommend
The Martian by Andy Weir

Barb recommends:
Olivay by Deborah Reed
Blood Games by Jerry Bledsoe
The Old Maid by Edith Wharton

Tracie thought The Pocket Wife by Susan H. Crawford was well written but not that memorable, and that Death Trap by M. William Phelps covered an interesting true crime case but was extremely poorly written.
